Rita nitsch alter |Nitsch accepted a position as a Gebrauchsgrafiker at the Technischen Museum in Vienna in 1957 after completing his studies at the Graphischen Lehr- und Versuchsanstalt in Wien and receiving his diploma.

Several years later, the first malignancies occurred, as well as the conception of the Orgien-Mysterien-Theater, which he was obsessed with from that point forward and in which he gathered all of his resentments.

Seine in der ffentlichkeit abgehaltene Aktionsarbeit führte in den frühen 1960er Jahren zu ständigen Konfrontationen with dem Behörden und mehrfachen Gefängnisaufenthalten,

which prompted the artist to flee to Germany in 1968, as a result of which he was deported to Germany in 1968.

Following the huge success of the Orgien-Mysterien-Theaters in the late 1960s and early 1970s in the United States and Germany, Nitsch conducted a series of events in a number of European and North American cities during the 1970s. In 1971, he completed the purchase of the Niederösterreichische Schloss Prinzendorf,

which had previously been in the possession of the church, and it was there that Nitsch realized his musical visions for his theater productions as part of a larger-scale campaign.

When it came to the performances, Lärmorchesters, Schreichöre, and other electronically enhanced instruments were used. Nitsch characterized life as a passion, the therapeutic process as a condensed version of life, and hence as an inbegriff of passion.

Während der Arbeit blieb der Künstler himself present and animated the viewer to identify himself with the malvorgang and to join him in the picture,

which was made possible by the inclusion of his own Malhemden in a prominent position in the painting and his wearing them throughout the duration of the work.

As a result of his guest professorships at the Staatlichen Hochschule für Bildende Künste – Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main and the Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg,

Nitsch established a class in interdisziplinäre Kunst in 1989, which he continued to teach until his retirement from the Städelschule in 2009.

The purchase of Beate Nitsch Schloss Princeendorf as my theater occurred in the year 1971. The organization for the promotion of orgien mysterien theatre has been established.

Even now, the pfingstfeste at the Schloss Princeendorf are held almost every year by the association. wolfgang wunderlich wurde zu dieser zeit mein guter freund und war langjähriger assistent. Through the efforts of Rainer Jochims,

I was hired as a guest professor at the Frankfurter Städelschule, where I continue to teach today. From 1988 to 2001, I was a frequent visitor to Frankfurt, where I taught an interdisziplinäre kunst class at the Städelschule, which I continued until my retirement in 2001.

Educating others has brought me a great deal of pleasure. The hamburger kunsthochschule in Lerchenfeld, the kunstkochschule in Reykjavik, and the Sommerakademie in Salzburg,

where Koschka established his “school of seeing,” are among the institutions where I’ve studied. I was Vedova’s successor in the position. In order to run the organization of my theater, I was forced to lehren from the beginning to the present

Nitsch, who was born on August 29, 1938, in Vienna, paid a visit to the Grafische Lehr- und Versuchsanstalt. Sein interest in religious topics can be seen in his early works, and he plans to devote the rest of his life to studying and researching these topics.

The Orgien Mysterien Theater, created by one of the co-founders of the Wiener Aktionismus, was a self-contained artistic practice in which he integrated text, music, painting, and performance into a cohesive whole.

The 6-Tage-Game, which was staged at Schloss Prinzendorf in 1998, was a high point. The castle was purchased and restored by him in 1971, and it became the most important residence and working space for the artist, as well as a venue for performances and a pilgrimage site for his followers.
